GVC – owner of brands such as Ladbrokes Coral, Party Poker and BWin – has agreed an extension to their deal with Playtech until 2025. It mans that Playtech will provide services and products to all brands as well as Playtech’s US facing ROAR Digital joint venture with MGM Resorts.
The expanded deal sees them work together in both existing jurisdictions and new markets and also sees an increase in brands covered from the previous deal.
As well as the online partnership, Playtech will now be providing Ladbrokes Coral software for its land-based shops for self-service terminals in Great Britain, Ireland and Belgium.
“Even more of our customers will now be able to enjoy content from one of the world’s leading suppliers of high-quality gaming product,” said Kenneth Alexander, GVC CEO. “At the same time the added flexibility around migration of technology platforms enables us to accelerate the integration of Ladbrokes Coral.”
His Playtech counterpart, CEO Mor Weizer, continued: “We are pleased to have reached a new agreement with GVC, which expands on the successful partnership we have established with Ladbrokes Coral over the last six years. This is testament to the strength of the Playtech proposition and we look forward to supporting GVC over the coming years.”
Last week Playtech posted mixed results for 2018 with a 54% rise in revenue to €1.24b but B2B revenue showing a 14% decline from 2017 down to €566m.
We look forward to seeing what these 2 giants of the industry have in store for us in the months and years ahead!
