More events announced for WSOP 2019
A new addition to this years WSOP is the $1k Mini Main Event. Taking place over the 2 days before the $10k Main Event – on July 1st and 2nd to be exact – it is bound to be popular with players. It has the same blind structure as the Main Event but with 30 levels instead of 120 and 60,000 starting chips.
The Colossus also returns with a reduced buy-in of $400 down from $565 last year making it the lowest buy-in tournament to offer a gold bracelet. There are 40,000 starting chips and 40 minute levels. There are 2 starting days, June 26th and 27th with the tournament due to complete on Saturday June 29th.
There are a number of Turbo Bounty Tournaments scheduled which are the only way players can win a bracelet in a single day. There are 2 versions, the $1,000 which includes a $300 bounty and a $1,500 buy-in with a $500 bounty on all players.
