Little known Krzysztof Stybaniewicz had the largest win if his career on Monday (26th October) as he beat 1,375 other competitors to win the largest WSOP Circuit Main Event of 2015.
His winnings of $356,043 more than doubled his live career earnings to $535,586 and got him his 2nd gold ring.
Hailing from Colorado, he started out as a full time poker pro upon college graduation in 2011. He recently took some time out from the game, but returned for this seasons WSOP where he managed 4 cashes totalling $18.018.
“This means everything to me,” Stybaniewicz told the WSOP after his win. “I have a lot of friends that have had a lot of success. These guys are constantly making final tables and I’m kind of on the sidelines. It was nice to have the roles be reversed for once […] Everything went right and all the spots worked out. I kept the gas pedal to the floor and brought it home.”
Many congratulations to Krzysztof from all at LateReg!
